Through unity and faith in action, the Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope (MICAH) brings churches and community leaders together to pursue justice and strengthen communities, living out Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
The Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope (MICAH) is a powerful network of congregations, organizations, and community members working together to address some of the most pressing challenges facing Memphis. By bringing people of faith together across different backgrounds and traditions, MICAH focuses on creating meaningful change through advocacy, education, and community engagement. Their mission is to empower communities, amplify the voices of those often unheard, and work toward solutions that promote fairness, opportunity, and hope for all residents.
Through partnerships with local churches, community leaders, and civic organizations, MICAH encourages individuals to take an active role in improving their neighborhoods and strengthening the city of Memphis. By focusing on justice, compassion, and collective responsibility, this coalition inspires people to turn faith into action—standing together to address issues such as education, economic opportunity, and community wellbeing. Guided by faith and unity, MICAH continues to work toward building a stronger, more just future for Memphis and the generations to come.
